1. Introduction
Welcome to Morespace ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Morespace application and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Essential Understanding: Morespace is a pass-through service. We do NOT store your cloud storage files. We temporarily process data to help you manage duplicates and backups, then immediately discard it.
2. Description of Service
Morespace is a cloud file management application that allows users to:
- Identify and manage duplicate files across cloud storage providers
- Backup files securely across multiple cloud services
- Analyze storage usage patterns
- Organize and deduplicate photos and documents
- Securely revoke app permissions from your cloud providers
Our service integrates with cloud storage providers including Google Drive, Google Photos, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, IDrive, and S3-compatible storage. We use OAuth 2.0 authentication to request secure, limited access to your cloud accounts.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for:
- Safeguarding your account password and login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Promptly notifying us of unauthorized access
- Reviewing our Privacy Policy to understand data handling
You must not use another person's account without permission, and you may not share your login credentials with others.
4. Cloud Provider Authorization & OAuth Scope Permissions
4.1 Understanding OAuth Scopes
When you connect your cloud provider accounts to Morespace, we request specific OAuth scopes (permissions) to perform our service. Understanding these is important:
Google Drive Scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive

- Used for: Identifying duplicates, analyzing storage
- File Contents: NOT downloaded or stored

- Default: Email indexing is off by default
- Allows: Reading email headers and content for indexing
- Used only for: Email organization and search (if you enable feature)
- Email Content: NOT shared with third parties
- Your Control: Enable/disable in Settings > Mail, or revoke in Google Account
- Restricted scope is required to perform mailbox cleanup after archival (Only on user-initiated actions only)
4.2 Your Scope Decisions Are Yours
- You consent to each scope individually during OAuth authentication
- You can withhold consent for any scope; the service will work with remaining scopes
- You can revoke any scope from your cloud provider's security settings independently
